Well, that was a bit disheartening. An American visiting the tower at St Nicholas, Chipping Hill in Witham thought I was American. I must stop 'D'ing my 'T's and not use American idiom.

I didn't think that could happen, either. The only way I can detect Canadians, and I've been taken as Canadian here too, is the way they pronounce out
I think I say out like an American! You need to practice your English, Alan! I'll work on my American for my trip later on!
